Problem with polarized sunglasses lenses

I am worried that a problem exists with the polarized sunglasses I received in the mail on Monday from PrescriptionGlassesOnline.net. I have owned polarized lenses before and never noticed what I see through these lenses. Each different lens seems to be polarized differently. When I view reflective surfaces, the reflection is brighter in one eye than the other. It gives the feeling that I’m looking through 3D glasses. It is certainly different from the polarized lenses I have purchased at a store, and I find it disorienting.
When I test the lenses by holding them in front of me and rotating, I notice that that one lens darkens when the glasses are horizontal and the other darkens when the glasses are vertical, if that makes sense. Anything I look at that reflects light is darkened in one eye but light in the other. The problem is terribly disorienting, and likely dangerous when driving. Could the problem be that the lenses were installed incorrectly? Maybe they are somehow polarized differently? Can this please be fixed?
The next day, I got a reply from their customer service rep; they told me that the problem you have encountered with polarized eyeglasses is ordinary. The polarized lens are designed to reduce the direct sun light to the eyes, but not through another polarized layer. As I already figured out, the polarized lens is orientated with certain direction. They won’t affect the vision through direct sun light, however when place two polarized lens together about 90 degree, the light won’t make through. That is why the polarized glasses cannot be used for watch objects with polarized layer such as computer screen. They also told me that in their lab, they had done their best to match the orientations of both lens, but when the lens has its own CYL and AXIS; they will primary match the AXIS. I understand the problem I have encountered with polarized eyeglasses is ordinary, it just increase my psychological burden I you always think about it. Actually I can see clearly through the lenses in the sense that the prescription is correct. I really appreciate for their help.
