Prescription eyeglasses are made of diverse materials. The traditional one is glass lens. But now it has been gradually replace by plastic lenses. But in fact, by far glass lens is the finest one in absorbing the ultraviolet light. Similar to plastic lens, glass comes in the several diverse colors and has anti-scratch coating. What’s more, it is much more inexpensive than plastic lenses. The reason of downfall of glass lens is the weight of the prescription eyeglasses which is made of the glass.
